While he’s only been on surfing’s elite Foster’s ASP World Tour for one full year and is embarking in his second it seems like the whiz kid from the sleepy hollow that is Mulloway in NSW Australia has been around on the scene for an eternity. An incredible talent who barely musters a mutter and shies away from the spotlight he’d prefer to let his surfing do all the speaking for him. His rookie year of 2006 had its highs and lows he finished second to Damien Hobgood in Fiji but had a string of early exits but at the end of the year it was obvious that Cansdell had grown as a person and a competitor and will be ball of momentum when he firs in 2007.
